Have you ever paid for something on Google Play store? Games, apps, films, music, books? Even in-game purchases?

Google Play Store

You may have never paid for something like that, or you may spend hundreds of dollars per year. I have spent 20$ per year on average since 2012. I consider 2 or 3 apps to be good enough to be paid their premium price.

This is, of course, a personal choice, but some data mark the tendency. During the first half of 2021, Google Play store users spent 23.400 million dollars, which represents 30% more compared to the same period in 2020.

So it seems clear there are lots of people who want to buy content on Google Play store. If you need to pay you will have to add your credit card information to your Google Play account and corresponding fees will be charged… or you would pay with credits.

But, how can I get those credits? There are some different ways you can get them:

  • You could buy some prepaid cards either online or in some retailers: Why should you do this? Think of it as a gift card. Or maybe you do not want to enter your credit card information on Google Service.

Google Opinion Rewards Program Logo

What is Google Opinion Rewards? This is Google’s program in which you earn credits by answering some questions about your habits.

How does it work? First, you need to download the app, it is available on Play Store and also for IOS users. Second, you have to join the program and answer several questions, those questions will be used to direct you to some surveys.

It will then use your answers and your location to enroll you in different surveys.

Some questions I have received so far:

  • Questions about my education level
  • Questions about recently visited places
  • Questions about my car

As soon as you finish the survey you earn your credits and there they are in your Google Play account so you can use them.

Depending on your area you can expect around 15$ to 20$ per year. I am talking about my experience, which may differ from others. Since I join the program in 2019 I have made up to 100$.

Warning: your credits expire after 1 year, so do not forget to use them.

Last to say, I am not making any money with it, There are no referral links, just try it and let me know about your experience.

Keep in touch.
